IRONMAN has confirmed Precision Fuel & Hydration as the title partner for this year’s IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship triathlon taking place in Marbella, Spain, on November 8-9, 2025.
The title partnership builds on PF&H’s existing role as the official hydration partner for IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 races in Europe, South Africa, and Oceania, and will see the brand take centre-stage at IRONMAN’s middle distance world championship.
This year’s Precision Fuel & Hydration IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship race marks the first time the event has been hosted in Spain, joining past European destinations in Austria, Finland, and France.
The IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship attracts some of the biggest names in the sport from Olympic distance specialists to middle- and long-distance triathletes all competing together to see who reigns supreme.
“IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship events are one of the highlights of the triathlon season, with incredible performances and the bringing together of the wider triathlon community in celebration,” said PF&H Co-founder, Andy Blow.
“Those who know us will know that, while the reason we exist is to help athletes perform at their best, we also like to have a bit of fun doing it. We have some exciting things planned for Marbella that we’re looking forward to sharing as the event approaches. Watch this space.”
As title partner, PF&H’s low-calorie PH 1000 electrolyte drink will be available to all athletes on course to help them stay hydrated, with fuelling options provided by Maurten.
Yanni Andreopoulos, Executive Vice President, Global Partnerships for The IRONMAN Group said “We first welcomed PF&H as a partner back in May 2024, and since then, the feedback from our athletes – both on and off the race course – has been overwhelmingly positive.
“We’re also hearing that more athletes than ever feel confident and dialed in to their race-day hydration strategy, which is helping them perform at their best and recover more effectively. We’re excited to take this partnership to the global stage, and look forward to welcoming the PF&H team to Marbella in November.”
Reigning IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion Jelle Geens of Belgium, who is supported by PF&H, added “I was already excited to defend my IRONMAN 70.3 title in Marbella, but knowing one of my key sponsors is the title partner gives me even more motivation to win. It’ll be cool to see the PF&H logo I have on my kit all over the race course as well!”
As with all the other IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 races in Europe, South Africa, and Oceania this season, the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship has also been built into PF&H’s free online planner, which enables athletes to get a better handle on their hydration strategies, as well as providing details about the aid stations on course.
IRONMAN adds that the Precision Fuel & Hydration IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship triathlon in Marbella will see more than 6,000 of the world’s best professional and age-group triathletes compete: with women racing on Saturday, November 8, and men racing on Sunday, November 9.
Athletes will take on a challenging 1.9km (1.2-mile) swim off Marbella’s Mediterranean coastline, a 90km (56-mile) bike ride through the Andalusian landscape, and a 21.1km (13.1-mile) run along the city’s seafront promenade.
Founded in 2011 by former elite triathlete Andy Blow, PF&H has built a following in the endurance sports community. The brand works with a long list of elite athletes including reigning IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion Jelle Geens, and last year’s IRONMAN Pro Series winner, Gregory Barnaby (ITA), alongside middle-distance specialists Ellie Salthouse (AUS) and Emma Pallant-Browne (GBR), both of whom have claimed multiple IRONMAN 70.3 triathlon titles, amongst others.
