R.A.D signs HYROX Elite 15 athletes Lauren Weeks and Sinéad Bent

Performance footwear & apparel brand R.A.D has entered the HYROX space with the signing of two athletes ahead of the HYROX World Championships in Chicago – three-time World Champion Lauren Weeks and Elite 15 newcomer Sinéad Bent.

The Oregon-based apparel company, known for its blend of training performance with surf and skate culture, confirmed that both athletes will compete in the HYROX Elite 15 division.

The announcement reflects R.A.D’s broader expansion into HYROX, which is billed as the world’s fastest-growing fitness race. Weeks and Bent join the brand’s existing athlete team including CrossFit competitors Danielle Brandon, Noah Ohlsen, Justin Medeiros and Trista Smith.

Lauren Weeks returns to defend her HYROX title after previous victories in 2020, 2021, and 2023. Last year she reclaimed her crown less than a year after giving birth, finishing the course in under 60 minutes – a feat only achieved by one other woman in HYROX history.

Joining her is Sinéad Bent, a rising talent who entered her first HYROX race in May 2024 with just four days’ notice. In her second outing, she broke the Women’s Open world record at HYROX London. In April, she earned her Elite 15 spot at the last-chance qualifier in Barcelona.

Ben Massey, Founder of R.A.D, said “We’re excited to welcome two incredible athletes in Lauren and Sinéad to our growing roster as we expand into HYROX.

“It is fantastic to be working with one of the most recognised names in the sport in Lauren and a rising star in Sinéad. We’re looking forward to supporting them both and seeing what the future holds as HYROX continues to expand globally as a sport.”
