Return of US$1 million prize pool at 2025 MyWhoosh Championships

MyWhoosh, the free-to-use virtual cycling platform, has announced that its flagship event, the MyWhoosh Championships 2025, will begin on August 12, 2025.

The first edition of this US$1 million prize pool event was held in 2023.

The MyWhoosh Championships is a separate event to the 2025 UCI Cycling Esports World Championships, which will be hosted on the MyWhoosh platform in November 2025.

This August, aiming to build its own championship, MyWhoosh is looking forward to welcoming virtual riders from across the world to compete for… ‘the largest prize pot of US$1 million in Esports cycling, which will be equally split between both men and women.’

The 2025 MyWhoosh Championships will take place from August 12-19, 2025. The event will feature an eight-day, seven stage category-based format, covering 440km with over 5000m of virtual elevation gain for men, and 340km with over 3800m of elevation gain for women.

Both men and women riders across six-categories will compete separately across a variety of virtual riding terrains, from flat sprints to mountain climbs and time trials.
