The Running Conference moves to larger venue, with haku confirmed as presenting partner

The Running Industry Alliance (RIA) has confirmed that haku will remain the presenting partner of The Running Conference through 2026, as the event prepares to move to a new, larger venue in response to growing demand.

Burleigh Court at Loughborough University will host The Running Conference 2025 presented by haku (TRC25) from December 7–9, 2025, alongside the Triathlon Industry Conference (TIC25) on December 8.

The move will allow RIA and Triathlon Industry Association (TIA) members to benefit from expanded space, upgraded facilities and increased networking opportunities.

New venue for a growing event
TRC has reported year-on-year growth, prompting the move to Burleigh Court, a purpose-built conference venue and hotel within Loughborough University’s West Park. The site includes dedicated conference support staff, integrated AV systems, and leisure amenities such as a pool and gym.

The new venue offers:

  • Increased capacity under one roof
  • More space for networking and discussion
  • Exclusive room availability and rates for attendees
  • Award-winning food in refurbished dining facilities

Continued support from haku
US-based event tech company haku will continue as presenting partner for the next two years. The company supports many endurance events with its all-in-one technology platform and has reaffirmed its commitment to the UK and European markets through its involvement in The Running Conference.

Rebecca Richardson, CEO of the Running Industry Alliance and The Running Conference, said “We are excited to expand the space for The Running Conference 2025 and continue our incredible partnership with haku as our Presented by Partner.

“This move to a larger onsite space at Loughborough University is a direct response to the growing demand from our members, alliance partners and industry leaders. It will allow us to deliver even more value, insights, and opportunities to drive business growth across the running and triathlon sectors.”

Jackie Levi, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at haku, added At haku, we are dedicated to equipping professionals with the technology and tools they need to scale their events and businesses.

“As Presented by Partner for the next two years, we are excited to continue supporting The Running Conference and contributing to the industry’s success. The expansion of TRC25 reflects the strength and momentum of the running industry, and we are proud to be part of it.”
