AI-powered training & coaching platform Vekta has announced that WorldTour riders Eddie Dunbar and Valentin Madouas have joined as athlete investors. The pair will also serve as founding members of the newly created Vekta Athlete Advisory Board.
The advisory board was established to ensure that the development of the platform is guided by the insight and experience of elite athletes. In their roles as founding members, Dunbar and Madouas will advise on product innovation, performance models, and international strategy.
Irish rider Eddie Dunbar is known for his climbing skills and stage-race pedigree, including multiple top-10 general classification finishes. French rider Valentin Madouas, the 2023 French National Champion and Paris 2024 Olympic silver medallist, will also support Vekta’s expansion in France.
Both riders indicated that they view the platform as a new standard for data-driven performance. The company’s athlete-led approach aims to ensure that AI-driven insights remain relevant for endurance sport athletes across various levels of competition.
