The 2027 ASICS Los Angeles Marathon charity program has reportedly reached capacity, with 194 non-profit organisations participating in next year’s event.

Produced by non-profit organization The McCourt Foundation, the popular marathon weekend returns on March 7, 2027, featuring the marathon, charity half marathon, and LA 5K. The charity program has expanded by more than 50% year-on-year, bringing nearly 2,000 additional charity runners to the course in Los Angeles, CA.

Since its inception, the ASICS Los Angeles Marathon charity program has generated more than US$79 million for participating non-profit organisations. The race expects over 25,000 runners to complete the 26.2-mile course from Dodger Stadium to Century City.

Melissa Christian, Director of Programming and Engagement for The McCourt Foundation, said “There’s something special happening with the charity program at the ASICS Los Angeles Marathon. We welcomed significantly more non-profit partners this year, and seeing the program reach capacity so early is a tremendous reflection of the demand from organizations that recognize the program’s value to their missions.”

“It also means we’ll see thousands more participants running or walking in support of causes they care about, which is incredibly exciting.”

Marathon weekend begins on March 5–6, 2027, with the Lifestyle Expo at Dodger Stadium, followed by the LA 5K on March 6 and the marathon events on March 7, 2027.
