Café du Cycliste and Montmartre Vélo Club hit year three

Café du Cycliste has announced the third year of its collaboration with Paris-based Montmartre Vélo Club (MVC) with the launch of a new SS26 capsule collection. The kit, which will be worn by club members, includes selected items that will also be made available for general sale.

The collaboration arrives as Paris continues its growth as a cycling-centric city, following the impact of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the Tour de France passing through Montmartre’s Rue Lepic. Café du Cycliste, which achieved B Corp certification in 2024, further established its French presence by opening a flagship boutique on rue Saint Fiacre in 2025.

The SS26 collection is inspired by classic Parisian typography and iconography. The range includes:

  • Bergida – a lightweight, performance-oriented short-sleeve jersey.
  • Victoire – the brand’s high-end race bib shorts featuring MVC livery.
  • Aero socks – featuring a new ‘Mont / Martre’ design.
  • Silk scarf – an elegant ‘Carré de soie’.
  • Musette – a practical bag featuring a zip closure and stabilising strap.
  • Bidons – MVC-branded water bottles.

Montmartre Vélo Club formed during the Covid-19 pandemic when local exercise was restricted to 1km from home. The group began by riding the various climbs within the Montmartre district and has since become known for its community spirit and camaraderie.

The new collection will be available for general sale on April 17, 2026. Members of the Outsiders Club, the brand’s loyalty programme, were granted early access to the range on April 15, 2026.

Founded in 2009 on the Côte d’Azur, Café du Cycliste produces technical and lifestyle apparel. The company was an early mover in the gravel cycling market and predominantly manufactures its products in Europe using recycled and sustainable materials.
