Castelli has launched its first-ever Women’s Summer Travel collection. According to the apparel specialist, the range is engineered for riders who prefer to ‘ride with intention rather than intensity’, allowing for a transition from cycling to off-bike activities without a traditional performance look.
Castelli adds that the collection is ‘engineered to disappear in motion’. Key pieces include the Comfort Travel Short, which utilises a light seat pad and Espresso Doppio fabric, and the Movement Travel Short, which features a lightweight taffeta over-short for a more laid-back feel.
The range also includes the Comfort Travel Crop Top, featuring seamless construction to help eliminate chafing, and the Comfort Travel Mesh Top, which is an ultralight, quick-drying garment designed for hot days. A moisture-wicking Travel Cap completes the ensemble.
At the heart of the range is the newly developed W Summer Travel seat pad. This minimalist chamois was engineered to provide saddle comfort without the added bulk of traditional padding, ensuring a more natural look and feel when off the bike.
Andrew Montgomery, Product Line Manager at Castelli, said “The introduction of the Summer Travel collection represents an exciting new era for Castelli. While many brands are narrowing their offerings, we’ve created a range for a rapidly growing community of younger, athletic women who enjoy the ride but don’t necessarily want to look like they’re in a pro peloton.
“It’s a collection that delivers in terms of comfort, breathability and performance, but also looks stylish and casual at the same time.”
The women’s summer 2026 collection is available in a variety of colourways, including Deep Bordeaux, Belgian Blue, Faded Rose, and Silver Moon.
Founded in 1876 and based in Fonzaso, Italy, Castelli is a pioneer in cycling apparel. It is credited with introducing various performance breakthroughs such as the first Lycra shorts and modern aero suits. Its products are designed in Italy and tested by UCI WorldTour cyclists to meet the demands of international competition.
