Trade show specialist Fairnamic has launched a strategic development programme for Eurobike following the first meeting of its newly established Advisory Board in late February.
The board, which met at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds in Germany, consists of eight representatives from across the industry, trade, associations, and service sectors.
The formation of the board is intended to realign the international trade show in cooperation with the cycling industry and its various segments. According to the show organisers, the move comes in response to concerns regarding the increasing fragmentation of the international trade fair landscape.
Stephan Kurzawski, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt Exhibition and Chairman of the Advisory Board, said “During the discussions, it became very clear that many market participants are concerned about the increasing fragmentation of the trade fair landscape. This makes it all the more important to have a common vision for the industry – a strong, international platform that provides orientation and reliability.”
The Eurobike Advisory Board is tasked with creating a long-term framework for dialogue to reposition Eurobike as a leading international platform for the bike and ecomobility sectors from the 2027 season onwards. Going forwards, Fairnamic will begin a structured dialogue process involving approximately 20 workshops with market participants, facilitated by an external strategy consultancy.

Our aim is to reposition Eurobike from 2027 as the leading international trade fair for the bike and ecomobility universe.”
While the transformation is aimed at 2027, the organisers stated that Eurobike 2026 will serve as the first milestone in this reorientation. The 2026 event will feature a revised hall layout, new cost-efficient participation formats, and a focused visitor campaign.
The 34th edition of Eurobike is scheduled to take place in Frankfurt am Main from June 24–27, 2026. This follows the debut of Eurobike Istanbul, which will take place from April 22–25, 2026, alongside the Motobike motorcycle show. The Advisory Board is expected to meet again within the next two months to further specify the conceptual steps for the 2027 season.
