Raccoon Media Group, organiser of trade show ISPO, has joined the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) as a Sustaining Member. The company has also revealed further details of a newly established ISPO Impact Fund.
With a new set-up announced in October 2025, ISPO, the international trade event for the sporting goods, outdoor, and winter sports industries, is set for a major revamp from 2026 under a new partnership between Raccoon Media Group and Messe München.
The latest tie-up with the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) comes as ISPO prepares for its next chapter, relocating from its long-term home in Munich, Germany, to the RAI Amsterdam venue in The Netherlands. ISPO 2026 show is scheduled to take place on November 3–5, 2026.
Tracy Bebbington, Managing Director of ISPO at Raccoon Media Group said “As ISPO enters a new era under new management and prepares for its next chapter in Amsterdam, it is essential that sustainability sits at the heart of everything we do.
“Joining EOCA and launching the ISPO Impact Fund reflect our belief in collective action and our responsibility to drive direct and meaningful change.”
As a Sustaining Member of EOCA, ISPO will provide ongoing funding and strategic support to conserve and restore wild places and support biodiversity.
Dan Yates, Executive Director of EOCA said “Their commitment sends a powerful message: that major industry platforms must not only showcase innovation but actively support the landscapes and ecosystems that inspire it.”
In addition to the EOCA membership, ISPO is investing €1 million into an ISPO Impact Fund. This new independent charitable organisation will support grassroots and non-profit initiatives within the sports, outdoor, and winter sports communities.
The fund will focus on three core areas: nature conservation and environmental stewardship, equitable access and participation, and fair, ethical, and responsible supply chains.
The founding trustees of the fund include Hannah Lewis, Finance Director at Raccoon Media Group; Andrew Denton, CEO at the Outdoor Industries Association; and Mark Held, founding Secretary General of the European Outdoor Group.
An independent advisory panel is currently being recruited to oversee the allocation of the €1 million fund. The application process will open online in spring 2026, with grants announced in November at ISPO 2026 in Amsterdam.
ISPO is an international trade event for the sporting goods, outdoor, and winter sports industries. Raccoon Media Group, which assumed operational leadership of the event through its joint venture with Messe München, also organises events such as the National Running Show.
