O2C has announced its official launch, introducing a performance footwear brand engineered around human biomechanics and elite competition.
The new cycling shoe brand notes that it enters the market with a product platform designed for efficiency, control, and fit, with several models scheduled for release during the 2026 season.
The brand is founded on more than 17 years of development in performance footwear. This includes work on anatomically correct cycling shoes that have been used across the Olympic Games, World Championships, and Grand Tours. According to the company, shoes developed under this design philosophy have been worn in over a third of all Olympic track cycling medals across the last five Games.
Steven Nemeth, Founder of O2C, said “At O2C, everything starts with the foot – not fashion, not trends. I’ve spent nearly two decades obsessing over how the foot actually works under load. O2C is the distillation of that work: uncompromising, anatomical, and relentlessly performance-driven.”
The initial line-up includes three flagship road cycling models and a dedicated triathlon shoe:
- Axis RS1 – Featuring a unidirectional carbon base, this model is designed for a balance of power, comfort, and control.
- Axis RK1 – An ultra-lightweight shoe developed specifically for climbing and high-responsiveness.
- Vector RC1 – A model that aims to provide the brand’s core anatomical precision to a wider audience of riders.
- Vector RT2 – A dedicated triathlon-compatible shoe engineered for the specific demands of triathlon racing, focusing on stability and comfort during long, high-output efforts.
According to the company, each model is built on a proprietary anatomical last, with a design philosophy that prioritises alignment and energy efficiency. Performance gravel and aero models are also expected to launch in spring 2026.
The O2C name is an abbreviation of ‘Obsess to Compete’. The company states that every detail, from heel cup geometry to sole architecture, is designed to eliminate inefficiency. The shoes are developed for competitive riders but are engineered to provide benefits such as reduced energy loss and improved comfort for all levels of cyclists.
The Axis RK1, Axis RS1, Vector RC1, and Vector RT2 will be available from launch via online pre-order and through selected retail partners from March 2026.
