Puresport has introduced a new Orange Lemonade flavour to its Ultra Electrolytes range. The London-based company, founded in 2018, noted that it designed the new product addition to reflect a philosophy of adapting to challenging conditions during training and competition.
The Ultra Electrolytes line originally launched in May 2024. Puresport positions the product as a clean, science-backed alternative to traditional hydration drinks. Each no-added-sugar sachet contains sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium to support muscle function and fluid retention.
Orange Lemonade joins existing flavours such as Citrus Salt, Raspberry Salt, and Watermelon Salt. According to Puresport, hydration is a variable that athletes can control even when external conditions, such as weather or life stresses, are unpredictable.
Jamie Pugh, Scientific Advisor at Puresport, said “Hydration is one of the variables every runner can control – regardless of what else the day throws at them. When conditions get tough, the physiological strain increases, and fluid and electrolyte losses can compromise performance.”
Pugh added that maintaining electrolyte balance, particularly sodium, is essential for supporting muscle function and the mental sharpness that can deteriorate when an athlete is depleted.
The brand has reported growth through its community-led approach, including its running clubs which saw over 45,000 participants last year. All Puresport products are Informed Sport certified, ensuring they are tested for banned substances and safe for competitive use.
Daniel Temm, CEO of Puresport, said “The runners we support aren’t the ones waiting for perfect conditions – they are the ones that show up anyway, those that adapt, and find a way – whatever gets thrown at them. Our job is to make sure the products they reach for are worthy of that effort.”
The Orange Lemonade Ultra Electrolytes product is priced at £33.00 for a pack of 30 sachets.
In addition to hydration products, the company’s range includes creatine, cognitive function supplements such as Lion’s Mane and Vitamin D3, and recovery aids such as magnesium and freeze roll-ons.
