Swedish firm Röko has acquired 99% of the shares in Italian company CyTech, the business behind the Elastic Interface brand. Headquartered in Italy, CyTech’s Elastic Interface operation produces pads for cycling shorts and ancillary products, supplying cycling apparel brands internationally as well as a majority of professional cycling teams.
CyTech has recorded annual net sales of €27 million and employs approximately 190 people. Since August 2026, the company is being consolidated into Röko’s B2C segment, with the acquisition not expected to have a significant impact on earnings for the current financial year. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The transaction marks Röko’s third platform acquisition in Italy. Since 2019, the European investment company has completed more than 40 acquisitions and currently holds a portfolio of 35 small and medium-sized businesses across various industries in Europe.
