MVC Group has confirmed the establishment of a new direct operating structure for the Castelli and Sportful brands in the UK & Ireland. The development follows the recent announcement that its long-standing distribution partner, Saddleback, has entered administration.
The new company will manage all UK operations for both the Castelli and Sportful brands, providing dedicated local support. MVC Group expressed its gratitude to Saddleback and its employees for nearly 20 years of partnership in the UK market.
The immediate priority for the Italian company is to ensure continuity for retailers and riders across the UK. It is working to restore normal supply operations and expects product availability for UK retailers to resume shortly through the new UK entity.
During the transition period, UK consumers can continue to purchase directly from the brand websites, accessing the full range of available products. Aiming to ensure a seamless customer experience, MVC Group will cover any duties, import charges, or additional fees, guaranteeing that customers will not incur unexpected costs.
MVC Group also confirmed that all existing orders will be produced and delivered as planned, without interruption to service. The company is actively engaging with retail partners and will provide further details regarding ordering procedures, account management, and sales support.
