Wizz Air has announced a new three-year agreement to become the title sponsor of the Ealing Half Marathon, a prominent running event in west London.
The race in South East England will join the WIZZ Run Series, becoming the airline’s ninth major running event partnership across Europe. Other races in the portfolio include the Milan Marathon, Budapest Half Marathon, and Rome Half Marathon. According to the company, nearly 140,000 runners took part in a Wizz Air-sponsored challenge during the 2025 season.
Organised by RaceNation Events, the 2026 Ealing Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026. The event features a course on fully closed roads through the London Borough of Ealing, with more than 8,000 participants expected to take part over the weekend.
In parallel a WIZZ Run Series competition offers amateur runners the opportunity to win prizes based on the number of kilometres completed across WIZZ-sponsored events. Prizes include the airline’s WIZZ All You Can Fly subscription.

The Ealing Half Marathon was founded in 2012 and is now in its 15th year. The weekend includes the Ealing Half Marathon, Ealing Feeling 5K, and Ealing Mini Mile. The event has raised more than £3.2 million for charity since its inception.

Wizz Air operates a fleet of 268 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, carrying 68.6 million passengers during the 2025 season. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
