RunThrough launches Kensington 10K for March 2027

UK-based mass participation running event organiser RunThrough has announced the launch of the Kensington 10K, a closed-road 10k event in London, UK, scheduled for Sunday, March 7, 2027.

The single-lap, chip-timed course will start and finish adjacent to Holland Park near Kensington High Street. The route passes local West London landmarks including Holland Park, the Design Museum, Leighton House, Notting Hill Gate, Ladbroke Grove, and Portobello Road.

Jack Williams, Chief Executive Officer at RunThrough, said “Kensington and Notting Hill are some of the most iconic streets anywhere in the world, and closing them to traffic for a mass participation 10k is a huge moment for RunThrough and for London’s running community.

“Being trusted to deliver a race in an area of such significance is testament to the experience our team has built putting on safe, high quality closed road events across the country. We want the Kensington 10k to be a race for everyone, whether you’re lining up for your first 10k or chasing a personal best, and with thousands already on the waiting list, the demand shows just how special this one is going to be.”

The event expands RunThrough’s portfolio of closed-road races, which includes the Fulham 10k, Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon, and London Half & 10k. Operating under parent brand GW Active, RunThrough delivers over 350 events annually. The company was co-founded in 2012 by former international runners Matt Wood and Ben Green.
