Soudal Quick-Step and AG Insurance–Soudal have announced an expansion of their partnership with Hytro, the wearable Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) technology specialist.
The partnership expansion follows a strong period for Soudal Quick-Step, which included cyclist Paul Magnier securing a hat-trick of victories at the Giro d’Italia. Having first partnered with the men’s team in the 2025 season, Hytro’s recovery solutions will now also be utilised across the AG Insurance–Soudal women’s team.
The agreement means Hytro will now support both the men’s and women’s professional cycling teams, providing wearable technology designed to assist with preparation, training and recovery.
Recovery plays an increasingly vital role in professional cycling, particularly during Grand Tours and stage races where riders face repeated high-intensity efforts across consecutive days of racing. Hytro adds that its wearable BFR technology enables riders to begin the recovery process immediately post-race, whether on the team bus, during transfers or back at the hotel.

Hytro is an international developer of performance tech, and its wearable BFR solutions are utilised by more than 400 professional sports teams and individual athletes internationally, across organisations such as the Premier League, NFL, Formula 1 and NASA research.
