Footwear brand Altra has released its new road running shoe, the Vanish Pulse. Launched on August 17, 2026, the shoe is priced at £130 and is designed for speedwork, tempo runs, as well as being a race day option.
The new model incorporates an all-new FAST PCE midsole foam, which the company claims is designed to deliver a ‘poppy, lightweight ride’. The shoe features a rubber outsole and a low 22mm stack height with a 0mm heel-to-toe drop.
The upper consists of a wide gauge knit construction, a heel webbing pull tab, and a flat tongue to enhance breathability. In line with the brand’s standard design approach, the shoe utilises its Original FootShape Fit, incorporating a roomy toe box and space through the midfoot to allow natural foot movement.
The neutral support shoe weighs 200g for the women’s version and 238g for the men’s version. It is available online and at selected retailers.
