The Tour de Zwift, the largest annual event on Zwift‘s virtual fitness platform, has returned to support athletes with training goals and New Year’s resolutions for the 2026 season.
Running from January 5 to February 22, 2026, the event allows hundreds of thousands of cyclists and runners to participate across nine virtual worlds. The tour consists of six stages, with each stage lasting one week, followed by a make–up week from February 16–22, 2026.
Zwifters can choose from long, standard, and short distances for each stage, which can be completed as social rides or competitive races. For runners, 5km events are scheduled throughout the week, with 10km long runs available at weekends.
For the most dedicated participants, the company has introduced the Ultimate Challenge. To complete this, athletes must finish all three distances – long, standard, and short – across all six stages. Those who achieve this feat will receive a 12,500 XP boost and unlock an in–game Afterparty Cap.

Every athlete who completes the Ultimate Challenge will also earn an entry into a prize draw for a one–of–a–kind Tour de Zwift x Pedal Mafia Zwift Ride Smart Frame.
In addition to in–game unlocks, a limited edition physical Zwift x Pedal Mafia Tour de Zwift kit is available for purchase globally via the Pedal Mafia website.
