The XTERRA Asia-Pacific Championship will return to Dunsborough in Western Australia’s South West for a third consecutive year on April 3–4, 2027. Following editions in 2025 and 2026, the region will once again host the largest off-road triathlon and trail running gathering in the Asia-Pacific territory.
The weekend event will take place around the waters of Geographe Bay and the singletrack trails of Meelup Regional Park. Organised by Rapid Ascent Adventure Event Management alongside the Dunsborough Country Club, the schedule includes regional championship events in off-road triathlon, trail running, and youth racing. The event is supported by the Government of Western Australia and the City of Busselton.
In addition to the premier championship races, the weekend will host community activities, shorter-distance events, and dedicated kids’ races designed to create a festival hub for visiting athletes and the local community.

“People want another morning in Geographe Bay, another lap through Meelup and another week with the friends they have made here. For everyone who has followed it from afar, 2027 is your chance to finally come and experience what the rest of us have been enjoying for the past two years.

Originally established in Maui, Hawaii, in 1996, XTERRA has grown into an international outdoor lifestyle and off-road endurance sports brand. The organisation manages global off-road triathlon and trail running series culminating in annual world championship events.
