OmniForce – the parent company of RaceForce, CauseForce and Project Sport – has had its CEO Brian Pendleton honoured for his international commitment to producing athletic charity events for cancer hospitals and his personal support for community and collegiate education programs.
Pendleton received the State Farm Good Neighbor Award on Saturday as part of the 3rd Annual Voice Awards benefitting GMCLA in Los Angeles, California.
“It’s an honour to be included with such a dynamic and inspiring group of people tonight,” said Brian Pendleton during his acceptance address.
“I humbly thank GMCLA and The Voice Awards committee for this incredible honour, and I salute you and celebrate the vital work you are carrying out each day to encourage tolerance and acceptance through the performing arts in schools across the United States,” Pendleton added.
Brian Pendleton and his team have been involved in the planning and production of over 150 athletic events across 5 countries since 2002. A native of Southern California, Pendleton applies his personal experience participating and producing events to provide comprehensive solutions for 34 athletic events across the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand each year.
In 2002, Pendleton created CauseForce, an athletic event and production company that works directly with charitable organizations to help them raise money for their mission. In 11 years, CauseForce events raised over US$700 million life-saving cancer research, treatment, care and prevention programs worldwide.
Earlier this year, Pendleton created RaceForce, a Los Angeles-based endurance and athletic event production company that invests in athletic events and collaborates with event owners to ‘deploy customized support where helpful while specifically maintaining the event’s grassroots identity.’
Privately, Pendleton is working to help communities gain access to academic facilities and scholarship programs. Pendleton supported the development of the ‘Goldman-Pendleton West Hollywood Library Mall’ in Los Angeles, a landmark facility for the community’s commitment to lifelong learning.
In the Philippines, two state-of-the-art ‘Pendleton-Goldman Learning Centers’ are serving local communities to help break the generational cycle of poverty in their communities. Meanwhile, the ‘Chad Goldman and Brian Pendleton Endowed Language and World Business Scholarship’ enables students at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville to complete domestic internships and study abroad.
Pendleton has served on board positions for national US organizations including Board Chair of The Trevor Project, and a Board of Governors Member of The Human Rights Campaign.
