With the racing season well underway, IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events across the United States appears to be on an upward trajectory in 2025.
According to The IRONMAN Group, multiple races including IRONMAN Lake Placid and IRONMAN 70.3 Musselman join a growing list of events that have officially sold out. Additionally, IRONMAN adds that… ‘numerous other events across the US are likely to reach sell-out status in the coming month.’
Popular on the full-distance IRONMAN circuit, the Athletic Brewing IRONMAN Lake Placid triathlon continues to draw athletes from around the world to New York’s Adirondack Mountains. Additionally, the IRONMAN 70.3 Musselman triathlon in the Finger Lakes region of New York State was recently named Best Overall Event Satisfaction and Best Bike Course for the global 2024 IRONMAN Athletes’ Choice Awards as voted on by athletes in 2024.
In addition, IRONMAN adds that the window is closing quickly for athletes to get spots to IRONMAN 70.3 Maine, IRONMAN 70.3 Santa Cruz, IRONMAN 70.3 Wisconsin, and the full distance IRONMAN Wisconsin as these events near sell-out status.
“Demand for racing IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 races continues to grow across the US and Canada,” said Keats McGonigal, Senior Vice President & Managing Director, North America.

The events join a growing list of sell-outs during the 2025 season, including IRONMAN Canada-Ottawa, IRONMAN 70.3 Oregon, Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Texas, Intermountain Health IRONMAN 70.3 St George, IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga, IRONMAN 70.3 Rockford-Illinois, IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside, IRONMAN 70.3 Eagleman, and IRONMAN 70.3 Mont-Tremblant.
For athletes that may have missed out on registering for the Athletic Brewing IRONMAN Lake Placid and IRONMAN 70.3 Musselman triathlons, limited entries still remain available through the IRONMAN Foundation and Enhanced Athlete Event Experiences powered by NIRVANA, which can be found by visiting the events’ websites.
