‘Pursuit of Yellow’ this July under newly launched MyWhoosh Missions

MyWhoosh, the free-to-use indoor cycling platform, has been rolling out ‘The Pursuit of Yellow’ – its July community challenge under the newly launched MyWhoosh Missions, a community-focused initiative.

This initiative is designed to engage riders around the world with challenges that celebrate and reward the spirit of cycling.

As part of the Mission series, MyWhoosh’s first mission – The Pursuit of Yellow – is inspired by the Tour de France. Here, the challenges are a mix of virtual race formats that test endurance and strategy. The mission includes a total of three virtual cycling stages, with events for each stage running 5-6 times daily during the below dates, ensuring MyWhoosh users have multiple opportunities to earn their yellow kit.

Stages Format Virtual route Activity timeline
Stage 1 Road Race Kluisbergen (1 lap) July 5 – July 20
Stage 2 ITT Hudayriyat Octopus Loop (1 Lap) July 14 – July 20
Stage 3 Group Ride Edo Circuit (3 Lap) July 21– July 27

A make-up week will be available from July 28 – August 3, with all three stages open, allowing riders to complete any missed stages.

Riders who complete all stages will earn in-game items inspired by the Tour de France:

  • Yellow Colnago virtual bike
  • Yellow virtual jersey
  • Yellow ENVE virtual wheels
  • ‘Pursuit of Yellow’ badge

Users can get involved via the ‘Missions’ tab on MyWhoosh home screen. To participate in the mission, users can look for challenges linked to the mission in the ‘Events’ tab and hit ‘Participate’ to ride and earn rewards.
