Organised by Threshold Sports, and launching on October 18, 2025, in London’s Finsbury Park, the new Endure Relays event series is introducing team relay racing to three UK cities.
Endure Relays events will be taking place in London, Birmingham and Manchester – with the Birmingham and Manchester events to take place in sprint 2026. As part of the new Endure Relays series, these new events are sister events to the 24-hour Endure24 series, which welcomes thousands of runners annually in Reading and Leeds.
Running is a team sport at Endure Relays. With four hours on the clock and a rapid 2.5km course, the stage is set for participants – whether they are first-time fun runners or marathon vets.
Each 2.5km course is built with speed in mind, mixing runnable paths and trails to showcase the best that each urban park location has to offer. Participants can run 13 laps as a team to bank a 20-miler, take on 17 laps for a marathon distance, and for an ultimate challenge, complete 20 laps to achieve a 50k ultra.
Nick Tuppen, CEO at Threshold Sports, said “Running communities have boomed in the last five years. They are built on support, sociability and running as a group experience.
“However, the vast majority of races are all about solo efforts. This new format is designed from the bottom up to suit the full spectrum of running clubs and communities across the UK.
“We had over 900 teams, clubs and crews join us on Endure24 events this summer and we can’t wait to bring the Endure Relays vibe to cities for the first time.”
