Marathon Photos Live named official photography partner for Running Industry Awards 2025

Running Industry Awards x Marathon Photos Live

Industry group Running Industry Alliance (RIA) has announced Marathon Photos Live as the Official Photography Partner for the inaugural Running Industry Awards 2025.

The Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony will take place as a stand-alone event for RIA members and non-members at Loughborough University on Tuesday, December 9, after The Running Conference presented by haku.

The Running Industry Awards celebrate the individuals, brands, businesses, ideas, and innovation shaping the future of the running and triathlon industries across the UK and Ireland. The awards are delivered in partnership with RunEvents and England Athletics.

Marathon Photos Live, a leading international event photography company, has been photographing endurance events since 1999. The company offers a search functionality for marathon photos online by name, number, and selfie.

The company utilises technology that can place participants’ photos into their photo album within five seconds at mass participation events.

Attendees at the awards will be able to benefit from this selfie technology, with photos taken on the night going into a dedicated photo album they can view later via the awards’ event page.

Rebecca Richardson, CEO of Running Industry Alliance, said “We’re thrilled to have Marathon Photos on board as the official photography partner.

“Their experience and expertise in capturing moments that truly matter will bring the awards to life and create lasting memories for all attendees. It’s a perfect partnership as we celebrate the best of the industry together.”

Chris Parry, Head of Global Development at Marathon Photos, added “Photography is about telling the story of people and their passion for running. We’re proud to partner with the Running Industry Awards and to help showcase the energy, innovation, and unity across this incredible industry.”

The awards cover 18 awards across 11 categories, recognising excellence, innovation, and community impact across the running and triathlon sectors.

The top three shortlists were announced on Friday, October 17, and the final round of public voting is open until November 7, 2025 via the official awards website. Voting is free.
