Human movement platform Pliability has announced an integration with Hyperice, the wellness brand known for its warm-up and recovery technology.
The partnership will provide new guided routines within the Pliability app, combining stretching with Hyperice’s recovery tools, such as the Hypervolt massage guns and Vyper vibration rollers. The combined routines aim to effectively prepare the body for movement and improve recovery.
The new feature launched on November 4, 2025 on the Pliability app. The app already offers an extensive library of guided mobility routines, sport-specific sessions, targeted body maintenance, and guided breathwork.
Elite athletes, such as 8x CrossFit Games Champion Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr and HYROX Elite 15 athlete Jake Dearden, are already ambassadors for the Pliability app.
The integration of stretching and percussion technology is intended to provide both recovery and activation benefits while improving long-term movement quality.
Pre-workout
- Muscle activation and motor control: Dynamic poses in Pliability’s routines improve muscle activation and motor control, reinforcing functional movement patterns.
- Range of motion and neuromuscular activation: Using percussive technology increases range of motion and neuromuscular activation for improved coordination, strength, and power.
Post-workout
- Increased blood flow and reduction in muscle soreness: Using Hyperice products on a low setting for a longer duration after a workout increases blood flow, which flushes metabolites and reduces muscle soreness.
- Parasympathetic nervous system activation: The low vibration engages the parasympathetic nervous system, similar to the longer static holds and breathwork in Pliability routines, improving both physical and mental recovery.
Three Hyperice products will feature in the set routines:
- Hypervolt 2 Pro: A hand-held massage gun offering deep-penetrating relief to stiff muscles via five variable speeds.
- Hypersphere Go: A massage ball with three vibration speeds for targeted muscle loosening.
- Vyper 3: A vibrating roller featuring three speeds of high-intensity vibration.
Scott Perkins, Founder of Pliability, said “At Pliability, our goal is to offer our users the best experience by reaching optimal conditions both physically and mentally.
“Hyperice adopts a similar approach towards their customers, so this integration is well aligned to help more people achieve better movement and education.”
Steph Smith, Vice President of Marketing at Hyperice, added “By fusing our products and Pliability’s programming we are providing enhanced tools for people to improve both how they workout and recover. Like Pliability, we prioritize helping people move better via facilitating proper warm up, recovery and body maintenance, which is what this integration ultimately achieves.”
