The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) has announced it will host a new ‘performance science meets business summit’ on the eve of the Gold Coast T100 Triathlon in Australia.
The ‘Bike to Boardroom’ summit, scheduled for March 20, 2026, is a collaboration with Break Records, Even When You’re Down (BREWYD), a performance consultancy that applies elite sports science to corporate leadership.
The event aims to bring together business executives and professional athletes to explore how methodologies used for Olympic-level performance can be applied to organisational results and leadership.
Jasmine Savage, CEO of BREWYD, said “We’ve spent years proving that the methodologies used to develop world-class athletes are directly applicable to building high-performing business leaders and teams.
“This summit demonstrates that connection in real-time, with the world’s best triathletes competing alongside business leaders committed to their own performance excellence.”
PTO noted that the summit will feature evidence-based performance frameworks, leadership methodologies, and insights from specialist Australian triathlon coaches. It also includes the ‘Executive Athlete Protocol’, a proprietary system designed to integrate peak performance across health, family, and business.
PTO added that the initiative aligns with its own audience data, which indicates that 44% of its amateur participants are financial decision-makers in their workplaces.
Stuart Ramsay, Chief Commercial Officer at PTO, said “BREWYD is leading the way when it comes to high performance programs in business, not just in Australia, but globally. So they were a natural choice of partner for our first Gold Coast T100 event.”
The summit coincides with the opening of the 2026 T100 Triathlon World Tour season on March 21–22, where the top 20 professional female triathletes will compete over the 100km distance (2km swim, 80km bike, and 18km run).
BREWYD operates on a model where corporate consulting fees fund athlete pathway programmes. This system currently supports athletes such as Olympic triathlete Luke Willian by providing coaching and sports science resources funded through business consulting work.
PTO’s 2026 T100 Tour is scheduled to visit nine locations, including Singapore, San Francisco, London, and Dubai, before concluding in Qatar in December.
