Pas Normal Studios has confirmed the launch of Accelerate, a 120km performance challenge aimed at increasing participation and visibility for women in cycling.
The initiative invites women globally to complete a 120km ride between March 1–8, 2026. According to the Denmark-based cycling apparel company, the distance was intentionally selected as a ‘stretch goal’ to encourage preparation, discipline, and mental resilience among participants.
The project is part of a broader effort by the Copenhagen-based brand to strengthen the female presence within the sport of cycling. Rather than focusing solely on visibility, the Accelerate programme aims to shift the narrative towards active participation and performance.
The challenge will be hosted on Strava, where a dedicated hub has been established for riders to track their progress. To support the digital activation, Pas Normal Studios will also organise local ride events and collaborate with a group of ambassadors who will document their own training and performance during the week.
Peter Lange, Chief Executive Officer at Pas Normal Studios, has previously noted the brand’s commitment to expanding opportunities for female riders, ranging from beginners to seasoned competitors.
This latest initiative follows the recent launch of the ‘Traka Force’ programme, a partnership with event organiser Klassmark designed to drive women’s gravel cycling forward in the 2026 season.
Founded in 2014, Pas Normal Studios specialises in contemporary technical cycling apparel. Based in the Nordhavn district of Copenhagen, Denmark, the company operates an international network of flagship stores and is a partner of the International Cycling Club.
The Accelerate challenge is open to all female cyclists, with participants encouraged to share their experiences and progress through the brand’s official channels.
