Paris Saint-Germain x Zwift in We Ride Paris connected cycling challenge

In collaboration with Zwift and a range of stakeholders, French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has launched We Ride Paris, an initiative that aims to bring together the football, cycling and connected fitness communities from August 17 to September 13, 2026.

Developed with the support of professional cycling team Groupama-FDJ UNITED alongside cycling and connected fitness brands FDJ UNITED, WHOOP, Zwift and Wilier, the initiative aims to bring people together around a collective sporting challenge.

Whether on Zwift or out on the road, participants are invited to ride at least 16.4km. A number of events will take place throughout the initiative, including virtual group rides alongside professional Groupama-FDJ UNITED riders, a finale at the Parc des Princes, and an auction of exclusive bikes with proceeds donated to the Paris Saint-Germain Endowment Fund – PSG For Communities and the Xana Foundation.

From August 17 to September 13, 2026, participants are invited to take part in We Ride Paris on Zwift. Represented by an avatar wearing an exclusive cycling kit and riding a virtual Wilier Filante SLR ID2 featuring the event’s colours, participants can complete a 16.4km virtual loop through the streets of Paris. Along the route, riders will pass virtual landmarks such as the Champs-Élysées, the Jardin des Tuileries and Montmartre.

Several group rides will also be organised on Zwift, giving participants the opportunity to ride together alongside professional riders from Groupama-FDJ UNITED. To enable wider participation, those without a Zwift account can join by sharing a link to a ride of at least 16.4km recorded using the sports tracking application of their choice.

At the end of the initiative, six participants who have registered via the website and completed either the Zwift challenge or recorded a 16.4km ride using a sports tracking app will be selected through a prize draw to attend an event at the Parc des Princes. At the club’s stadium, they will take part in a group ride on Zwift alongside club personalities and professional riders from Groupama-FDJ.

A range of prizes will be awarded to participants throughout the initiative, including VIP experiences at professional cycling races with FDJ UNITED, a Zwift Ride smart bike and annual Zwift memberships, official We Ride Paris cycling kits, WHOOP wearables and monthly memberships, as well as vouchers for the Paris Saint-Germain online shop.

To create the visual identity for We Ride Paris, Paris Saint-Germain commissioned artist Edgar Plans. His design has been applied to a cycling kit, a Zwift Ride smart bike and a Wilier bicycle, bringing together Paris Saint-Germain, PSG For Communities and the Xana Foundation.

As part of the initiative, Wilier and Zwift will provide five Filante SLR ID2 bikes and five Zwift Ride smart bikes respectively, customised in the We Ride Paris colours. These pieces will be auctioned by Paris Saint-Germain, with all proceeds donated to PSG For Communities, through the Paris Saint-Germain Endowment Fund, and the non-profit Xana Foundation.

PSG For Communities brings together Paris Saint-Germain’s social commitments, carried out by the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation, created in 2000, and the Paris Saint-Germain Endowment Fund, launched in 2013. The Endowment Fund works to support children, young people and communities facing hardship through educational and sports-based programmes, including its four flagship initiatives: Allez les filles!, L’École Rouge et Bleu, La Cantine Solidaire and One Team.

The Xana Foundation, established in Barcelona in November 2023, is a family-run charitable foundation created to support families affected by the illness of a child.

Groupama-FDJ UNITED, founded in 1997 by Marc Madiot and led by Thierry Cornec, has competed as a UCI WorldTeam since 2012. Backed by partners Groupama and FDJ UNITED, the team includes a development feeder squad, La Conti Groupama-FDJ UNITED, and is a member of the Mouvement Pour un Cyclisme Crédible.

WHOOP, founded in 2012 and headquartered in Boston, MA, produces human performance wearables and health guidance platforms covering sleep, recovery, strain and longevity.

Italian bicycle manufacturer Wilier Triestina, founded in 1906 and based in Rossano Veneto, designs and manufactures high-performance road, gravel and mountain bikes.
