Czech-based indoor cycling platform ROUVY has confirmed a new partnership with the Giro d’Italia and event organiser RCS Sports. The agreement sees the app become the Official Training Partner of the Giro d’Italia, Strade Bianche and other events within the RCS portfolio.
The collaboration will bring key stages and sections of both the men’s and women’s Giro d’Italia courses to the platform over the coming seasons. This weekend’s Strade Bianche is already available in the app alongside several iconic climbs frequently featured in the Giro.
Petr Samek, CEO at ROUVY, said “The Giro d’Italia and all of RCS’s races represent highlights in the pro cycling calendar for a large part of the cycling community, and to be able to bring these to life for our own riders at ROUVY is a really exciting step. We know that our community enjoys connecting indoor riding with inspiring outdoor routes we see the best in the world race over, so we’re looking forward to expanding this library over the months to come.”
The partnership also allows professional teams to access key stage profiles for indoor training and reconnaissance ahead of race days. For amateur riders, ROUVY is developing ‘digital twins’ of the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche and Gran Fondo Il Lombardia courses, allowing users to scout or retrospectively ride the routes.
Wout van Aert, pro rider for Team Visma | Lease-a-Bike, said “I do a lot of my riding outdoors, but when I need to ride inside, ROUVY allows me to visualise routes like Strade Bianche as a reminder of what’s to come. Knowing that routes from other races like Milano-San Remo and Tirreno Adriatico will also be available to ride on ROUVY is great.”
The platform plans to capture real-life routes during the races to record the atmosphere of the fans and environment. Featured events will include Strade Bianche, Milano-San Remo, the Giro d’Italia and Milano-Torino.
ROUVY takes over the partnership role previously held by Bkool, which it acquired in 2025. According to the company, the Giro d’Italia partnership was highly utilised by the former Bkool community and was a priority to reignite.
Paolo Bellino, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager at RCS Sports & Events, said “Giro d’Italia and our other iconic events, like Strade Bianche, are defined by their breathtaking landscapes and legendary routes. Our partnership with ROUVY brings these experiences directly to fans worldwide, allowing them to immerse themselves in our races like never before.”
ROUVY is part of the ROUVY Group, which also includes the FulGaz platform. The app is a partner to several international sporting organisations such as IRONMAN, Challenge Family and the LifeTime Grand Prix.
New routes will be added throughout the 2026 season. New users to ROUVY can access a seven-day free trial before choosing from monthly or yearly plans.
