The organisers of the Let’s Tri Pollença Triathlon in Mallorca, Spain, which takes place on 6 September, are offering a generous 50% discount to triathlon club members across the UK and Europe. The aim of the club-specific promotion is to further the event’s strategic focus of targeting of travelling triathletes, particularly in northern Europe.
With the 50% discount on the event, the entry fee becomes €45 rather than the usual €90.
Macro-economic conditions also make matters even more attractive for travelling UK triathletes in particular. The current strength of Sterling against the Euro is great news for holidaymakers heading to Europe. UK triathletes’ pounds will go much further than last year – making now a good time to travel and take on an overseas triathlon on the continent.
Triathlon clubs interested in taking up the 50% discount should contact the event organisers Kumulus directly. Clubs can simply complete an Excel spreadsheet with the names of participating club athletes and e-mail this to info[at]letstri.es or david[at]kumulus.es. Upon receipt of an e-mail Kumulus will forward details for a bank transfer to cover the discounted entry for club members.

Taking place on 6 September 2014, Let’s Tri Pollença is the flagship of the Let’s Tri series in Mallorca – with a ‘demanding, special and beautiful course’.
The event is hosted in the village of Pollença, located in the north of Mallorca. It offers up a demanding bike course, similar to that of the Ironman 70.3 Mallorca event. Let’s Tri Pollença’s 56K cycling leg journeys around Pollença, Lluc, Selva, Campanet and Pollença. Before the bike segment, athletes have to swim 1.9K in the scenic Mediterranean, close to the port. The run course is a tough one, with a hilly profile and spectacular finish line in this picturesque village.
