The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) has announced a partnership with Katara Hospitality, a hotel owner, developer, and operator, as an Official Partner of the 2025 Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final, which will take place in Doha on December 10–13, 2025.
Qatar is set to host the final event of the T100 Triathlon World Tour from 2025 to 2029, a result of a collaboration between the PTO, Visit Qatar, World Triathlon, and the Qatar Triathlon Federation. The season-long series is known as the T100 Race to Qatar. Lusail will be the venue for the final.
Katara Hospitality will support the event by providing accommodation for professional and amateur athletes through the Ritz-Carlton, Doha and Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha hotels. It will also assist in hosting premium experiences throughout the championship week.
The company will also host an exclusive business networking event for senior executives, investors, and sports industry leaders at one of its Doha hotels.
Stuart Ramsey, Chief Commercial Officer of the PTO, said “We’re excited to announce this partnership with Katara Hospitality. Katara Hospitality’s international reputation for excellence and their vision for promoting Qatar as a destination for world-class experiences aligns perfectly with the ambition of the T100 Triathlon World Tour.
“Together, we’re creating an event that celebrates not only athletic performance but also Qatar’s exceptional hospitality and business leadership.”
Katara Hospitality has previously partnered with the PTO to deliver experiences at international events, such as the London T100 Business Breakfast at The Savoy.
Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Thani, from Marketing & Communications at Katara Hospitality, said “This partnership reflects our long-standing commitment to showcasing Qatar’s world-class hospitality and creating experiences that unite sport, tourism and business on an international stage.
“Hosting the world’s best athletes and leaders in Doha further reinforces Qatar’s reputation as a premier destination for excellence, innovation and cultural exchange.”
The partnership is seen to be aligned with Qatar’s National Vision 2030, with Katara Hospitality committing to advancing sustainable tourism and responsible event management across its properties, such as through energy efficiency and waste reduction.
The Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final will highlight elite athletic competition and spotlight Qatar’s luxury tourism and hospitality sector. The event is set to be broadcast in over 195 international territories.
