R.A.D, the US-based performance footwear brand, is launching a special edition of its ONE V2 training shoe in collaboration with six-time CrossFit Games athlete Josh Bridges. The R.A.D ONE V2 ‘Pay the Man’ edition was released online on July 10, 2025.
Known for blending functional training design with skate and surf aesthetics, R.A.D has worked closely with Bridges to incorporate personalised elements into the shoe. The design reflects his well-known motto ‘Pay the Man’ – a philosophy he adopted following his failure to qualify for the 2015 CrossFit Games, encouraging consistent hard work and personal accountability.
Bridges, a former US Navy SEAL, made his CrossFit Games debut in 2011, finishing second overall. He went on to compete five more times, earning a reputation as one of the sport’s iconic figures.
“Couldn’t be more proud to have R.A.D want to do a payhim colorway,” said Josh Bridges. “From the moment I put on a pair of R.A.D’s I haven’t taken them off… Stay R.A.D and don’t forget to pay the damn man!”
Ben Massey, Founder of R.A.D, stated that the collaboration reflects the mindset behind training. “Josh is a GOAT. He’s done wild things in this sport, but what sticks is his mindset. Pay Him isn’t just a hashtag, it’s a way of life: less thinking, more doing.”
The limited edition Josh Bridges R.A.D ONE V2 will be priced at £130 / US$150 and available exclusively online.
