The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), in coordination with World Triathlon and the Saudi Triathlon Federation, has announced a date change for the upcoming Saudi Arabia T100 and World Triathlon Cup in Jeddah.
Originally scheduled to take place on November 27–28, 2026, the inaugural Saudi Arabia T100 event will now be held on April 16–17, 2027. The organisers stated that the rescheduling follows a joint review of technical and operational requirements to ensure optimal delivery for both professional fields and age-group competitors.
In September, PTO signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with investment vehicle Sela. This establishes a framework for a long-term partnership in order to focus on the commercial development and delivery of PTO events in Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Arabia T100 event forms a key part of ongoing initiatives by the Saudi Triathlon Federation to develop grassroots participation, foster local event-hosting expertise, and provide competitive opportunities within the Kingdom. Alongside the elite races, amateur entries remain open across various participation categories.
Now set for 2027, the Saudi Arabia T100 Triathlon will feature a men’s professional T100 race, showcasing 20 of PTO’s top ranked male triathletes, alongside a selection of amateur and junior mass participation events taking place across the event weekend.
Registration and further details for amateur participants are available via the official event portal at t100triathlon.com/saudi-arabia/participate.
