World of Triathlon LIVE debut show reports over 5,000 visitors

World of Triathlon LIVE show - Lucy Charles-Barclay on stage

The inaugural edition of World of Triathlon LIVE, powered by TriDot, reportedly welcomed 5,079 visitors across two days at ExCeL London on March 28–29, 2026. The show, which functioned as a gathering for the triathlon community, brought together athletes, industry leaders, and brands to celebrate swim, bike, and run.

Organised by Event Director and Founder Stuart Walker, the show featured stages with appearances from some of the most recognisable names in the sport. Attendees heard from athletes such as Lucy Charles-Barclay, Dave Ellis, Sam Dickinson, Steph Clutterbuck, Claire Cashmore, and Tim Don.

Interviewed by Annie Emmerson, the speakers provided insights into elite performance and resilience. The programme also included expert-led sessions with Olympic medallist Keri-anne Payne, T100 Lead Mechanic Anthony Foy, and Will Usher, Vice President of TriDot, covering topics such as performance coaching and the endurance landscape.

Beyond the athletes, the event served as a platform for influential voices to discuss the future of the sport. Industry figures on stage included Ruth Daniels, CEO of British Triathlon; Stuart McInnes, CEO of XTRI World Tour; Bianca Fernandez-Clark, Chair of Women in Tri UK; James Shipley, Managing Director of ATW Events; Harry Jones from the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO); and Nicola Dick of World Triathlon. These sessions focused on growth, inclusivity, and the direction of the sport at an international level.

The exhibition floor featured a line-up of organisations and brands from across the triathlon ecosystem. Exhibitors such as Zone3, Orca, Maurten, ATW Events, T100, LUCA, ROUVY, and Scimitar engaged with visitors through product insights and activations.

Ruth Daniels, CEO at British Triathlon, said “Huge congratulations and thanks to World of Triathlon LIVE and Stuart for creating and delivering the first triathlon‑focused expo in a number of years. In the current economic climate, bringing this to life took real courage, focus and dedication, qualities familiar to every great triathlete.”

Daniels added “The energy, support and conversation throughout the event showed the true depth of our sport: from Olympians and Paralympians to grassroots participants, elite champions and those taking about personal challenges at every level. Triathlon is built on swim, bike and run, but above all it’s built on community, one that goes far beyond participation. It was a pleasure to speak, reconnect with so many familiar faces, and help spread the word about our incredible sport.”

The event was supported by headline sponsor TriDot, the coaching platform that uses data and technology to optimise athlete training.

Jeff Booher, CEO of Predictive Fitness and creator of FitLogic that powers TriDot and RunDot, said “Triathlon grows when athletes have access to the right information, the right community, and the right tools. That’s exactly what World of Triathlon LIVE was built to deliver, and it’s why we were proud to be the title sponsor of its first edition.”

Multiple triathlon world champion Lucy Charles-Barclay added “I’ve met so many athletes and it’s such a great atmosphere, thank you so much for putting it together.”

Stuart Walker, Event Director and Founder at World of Triathlon LIVE, said “World of Triathlon LIVE was created to improve access to this wonderful sport plus bring the entire triathlon community together under one roof, and the response to our first edition has exceeded expectations. From elite athlete insights to grassroots engagement, the energy across the show floor and stages was incredible. I’m just so grateful for our Sponsors, Partners, Exhibitors, and guest speakers, but most of all the visitors, for showing up in their thousands. Thank you!”

Plans are already underway for the second year of the event. Tickets are available for April 10–11, 2027, priced at £10 for the weekend.
