The Pro Triathlon Team (formerly BMC Pro Triathlon Team) has confirmed its six-athlete roster for the 2026 season, representing five different nations.
With a new title partnership to be announced next week, the team also intends to announce further details regarding its ‘next chapter’ and upcoming legacy projects later this month.
The new team announcement marks the start of a new chapter for the international squad, which has secured over 150 race victories and 300 podium finishes since its inception in 2014.
The 2026 team line-up features three returning athletes and three new signings. The full roster consists of Daisy Davies (UK), Finn Grosse–Freese (GER), Miguel Hidalgo (BRA), Antonio Benito Lopez (ESP), Laura Madsen (DEN), and Cameron Main (UK).
CEO of the team, Bob De Wolf said “After 12 magnificent seasons as a top international team, we are ready to take the next step in our journey and build on the outstanding successes we have achieved.”
De Wolf added “We are incredibly proud and grateful of the legacy we have built so far, but even more excited about what’s to come in 2026 and beyond.”
Among the new faces is Daisy Davies, the 23-year-old 2025 European Champion in Long Distance Triathlon.
Daisy Davies said “I’m really looking forward to meeting and learning from the team and support staff. Being part of a team with such technical expertise and a clear vision for excellence is an ideal setting for me to take the next step in reaching my full potential.”
Finn Grosse–Freese also joins the squad following a successful 2025 season where he secured victories at IRONMAN Austria and IRONMAN Copenhagen.
Grosse–Freese said “My main goal for the 2026 season is to win a major IRONMAN race and to achieve a top finish at the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona.”
The third new addition is Cameron Main, who recently won IRONMAN Western Australia on his debut at the distance. Main has already secured qualification for the IRONMAN World Championship in Hawaii in the 2026 season.
The team also confirmed that its cooperation with Thor Bendix Madsen, Clément Mignon, Sam Dickinson, and Lucy Byram concluded at the end of the 2025 season.
Sam Dickinson, who secured an Olympic medal in Paris and a debut T100 podium during his tenure, said “I can’t thank Bob and Ben enough for taking a chance on me in 2023, and what followed had been undoubtedly the best two-year stretch in my triathlon career.”
