US-based event brand, CLASH Endurance (formerly known as Challenge North America) has announced the debut of ‘The International Cup’. This is being rolled out in an effort to showcase cultural diversity and celebrate the range of nationalities represented at the CLASH Endurance Event Series.
The International Cup will be positioned as a friendly competition amongst athletes to determine which country has the greatest representation. The format will debut at CLASH Endurance Miami, taking place at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, on March 11-13, 2022.
Athletes from around the world will have the opportunity to showcase the country they represent. Additionally, athletes will score points for their country based on their placing in their respective age groups.
CLASH adds that… ‘Not only will we see which country is most represented, but also which as the fastest athletes.’
The International Cup will assign bib numbers, bike racks by country, complete with country flags. There will also be a Friday evening ‘Parade of Nations’ among other festivities.
Age group and professional athletes alike will be eligible and score points for their country based on their performance.
Additional offerings may include:
- Themed aid stations with music that represents those countries with the largest contingent of athletes
- Ethnic food trucks in the athlete village
- Transition racking according to country representation with flags
- Cultural organizations and entertainment on-site
- International Cup race t-shirt to all participating athletes
- Specialized CLASH Endurance country-specific branded kits available for purchase

The International Cup imagery will be branded on a variety of athlete kits and apparel from VARLO and will be available at the CLASH Endurance Miami event.

Athletes at CLASH Endurance Miami will swim in a spring-fed lake inside the speedway, exit the speedway for an out-and-bike bike course through the mangroves and the start of the Florida Keys, then return for a palm tree lined run throughout the speedway.
