Professional cyclist and founder of Williams Racing Development, Justin Williams, in partnership with Wasserman Ventures, has unveiled the Circuit Racing International Tour (CRIT).
A release noted that CRIT has received a multi-million dollar investment and aims to shape the future of American cycling.
Alongside Williams Racing Development, Justin Williams is a co-founder of pro cycling team L39ION of Los Angeles.
The new CRIT circuit racing tour joins other crit racing series in the US, such as the American Criterium Cup and recently launched National Cycling League.
Aiming to generate an inclusive and electric atmosphere… ‘CRIT races will be held in major markets at iconic mainstream sport venues to celebrate diverse cultures as represented by riders and fans alike. Building off the momentum of Into the Lion’s Den, CRIT promises to promote the spirit of competition, embrace sportsmanship, and share the love of bike racing.’
Williams has a long-standing relationship with Wasserman, having been represented by Wasserman Executive Vice President, Action Sports & Olympics Travis Clarke for the last five years.
