Italian espresso machine manufacturer Rocket Espresso and virtual fitness company Zwift have teamed up to launch a limited-edition collaboration. The partnership introduces the Mozzafiato Fast, a machine that blends Italian engineering with the branding of the digital cycling platform.
With its origins as a fitness company born from gaming, Zwift has been ramping up with its hardware in recent years, such as the Zwift Hub and Cog, following collaboration with Wahoo Fitness. However, this is the company’s first foray into the world of premium coffee machines.
The Mozzafiato Fast delivers a stainless-steel exterior and integrates subtle Zwift design elements. These include ‘Big Zee’ logos integrated into the machine’s design and orange gauge needles that provide a nod to the virtual cycling platform.
According to Zwift, the machine is designed to keep pace with busy training schedules. Featuring a new rapid-heating system, it is ready to pull an espresso shot quickly for athletes prepping for a social ride in Watopia or a pre-workout pickup.
Available from this month, the Rocket Espresso x Zwift Mozzafiato Fast is strictly limited to 200 units internationally. The machine is priced at £2,350 including VAT in the UK, €2,750 including VAT in Europe, and US$3,990 excluding sales tax in the US.
