Pinarello rolls out next-generation DOGMA X endurance bike

Pinarello has introduced the next generation of the DOGMA X, its flagship all-road performance bicycle designed for long-distance riding. Positioned alongside the racing-focused DOGMA F and the gravel-specific DOGMA GR, the updated model incorporates new frame materials, revised geometry, and structural updates to improve comfort and performance.

The Italian brand first launched the DOGMA X in 2023, introducing its signature X-STAYS system. For the latest iteration of the bicycle, the design team at the Treviso-based manufacturer has updated this technology. The new X-STAYS 2.0 system features a double-arm, four-point top-stay design.

By refining the endurance geometry and lowering the attachment point of the stays on the seat tube, the design is engineered to disperse road vibrations more efficiently through the four connection points. This lower linkage also minimises rebound, aiming to deliver a more compliant and controlled ride on rougher road surfaces.

To reduce weight and improve frame characteristics, the new DOGMA X utilises Torayca M40X carbon fibre, which is the same carbon layup used in the company’s DOGMA F racing model. This material features a high tensile modulus to create a lighter and more durable frame that is optimised to deliver a responsive yet smooth ride.

In addition to the frame material updates, the brand has applied its aerodynamic development work to the new model. The bike features a new elliptical-shaped steering tube paired with a wider head tube, designed to enhance aerodynamic efficiency and increase torsional stiffness.

The frame also incorporates a narrower, tapered down tube to minimise drag while increasing lateral stiffness for improved reactivity on climbs and speed on flat roads. At the front end, the bicycle features closed dropouts to optimise airflow, whilst the overall frame changes aim to improve handling stability on high-speed descents.

Designed to perform across varied road conditions, the DOGMA X offers 35mm tyre clearance, allowing riders to run wider tubeless tyres for increased comfort and traction. It also features a new dual-mount system that ensures the frame is fully compatible with SRAM universal derailleur hanger (UDH) technology.

Fausto Pinarello, President at Pinarello, said “The new DOGMA X is the ultimate all-rounder. Like the DOGMA F, it delivers exceptional reactivity, stiffness, and acceleration, but with a carbon layup and design which has been optimised for everyday road surfaces.

“It’s a bike built for riders who understand that true performance is measured by the ability to sustain their position and power across a range of distances and terrain.”

“Because innovation is engrained in our DNA, we took the signature traits which made the original DOGMA X such a success the first time around and refined every detail to create a bike that feels alive and responsive, whether you’re two hours into a ride or 10. Every component has been produced to the highest-possible standard and riders will feel that the second they hit the road.”

The DOGMA X is available in multiple colourways, including Moonlight Frost, Etna Lucente, Aqua Veil, and Jade Eclipse. The bike will also be added to the brand’s MyWay customisation platform on July 24, 2026, allowing customers to design their own paint schemes.

Full build configurations are available with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2, SRAM Red AXS, and Campagnolo Super Record groupsets, paired with premium wheelsets from Campagnolo, DT Swiss, and Princeton CarbonWorks.

The frame-only option is priced at €6,700, US$7,250, or £5,500. Complete bike builds start from €14,900, US$15,7500, or £12,500.
