Stan’s has launched Rolled Gold, a new biodegradable tubeless sealant purpose-built for a range of road and gravel tyres.
Formulated, produced, and bottled in the USA, the new sealant is engineered for pressure ranges between 35–100 psi (2.4–6.9 bar).
According to the company, lab testing shows a 700c x 28mm tyre requires 35ml of Rolled Gold, compared to 50ml for Stan’s Original and a claimed competitive average of 55ml.
The formula uses 100% natural latex rather than synthetic alternatives. Stan’s states that this natural latex is sustainably sourced and EUDR compliant, offering improved adhesion to tyre casing fibres and greater tensile strength.
Rolled Gold is designed to seal round punctures up to 7.8mm at 100 psi. Unlike the company’s Race Day sealant, Rolled Gold has a lower viscosity and smaller particle size, allowing it to be injected directly through the valve stem.

“From our experience in this market and from listening to Stan’s riders, we realized we could deliver a superior product for road cyclists, that required less sealant – thus saving weight – yet with the same reliability as our Race Day product, plus you can inject this through the valve. So there are no sacrifices.”
The sealant is functional in temperatures ranging from -20°F to 120°F and is suitable for road, gravel, and XC mountain bike tyres.
Rolled Gold does not replace existing Stan’s products, sitting alongside Stan’s Original and Race Day options. The product is available in three sizes:
