ENVE’s new G SES gravel wheel line billed as ‘the fastest gravel wheels ever built’

ENVE Launches New G SES Gravel Wheel Line

ENVE has confirmed the launch of its new G SES line, which the company claims to be the ‘the fastest gravel wheels ever built’.

Informed by the same design philosophy as the brand’s Tour de France-winning SES road wheels, the three models in the G SES line were developed in collaboration with athletes at international events. According to the company, the range was refined through insights gained at the Gravel World Championships, Life Time Grand Prix races, and UCI World Gravel Series events.

The new line-up includes:

  • G SES 6.7 PRO

Described as the world’s most aerodynamically efficient gravel wheel, the G SES 6.7 PRO was developed using wind tunnel data. The wheelset has a front depth of 60mm and a rear depth of 67mm, with an internal rim width of 25mm.

The wheelset weight is 1,580g and it features ENVE Innerdrive PRO hubs and Silver Alpha Ultralite spokes. The G SES 6.7 PRO is priced at US$3,100, €3,899, or £3,499.

  • G SES 4.5 PRO

The G SES 4.5 PRO is designed to balance aerodynamic performance with weight savings across all terrain. It builds on the design of the existing SES 4.5, offering a front depth of 49mm and a rear depth of 55mm.

This model is the lightest in the new range, with a wheelset weight of 1,480g. It also utilises the Innerdrive PRO hub system and is priced at US$3,100, €3,899, or £3,499.

  • G SES 4.5

Sharing the same rim profile and aerodynamic properties as the PRO version, the G SES 4.5 utilizes different components, such as the ENVE Innerdrive Premium hub and Sapim CX-Ray spokes.

The total wheelset weight for this model is 1,565g. It is positioned as a slightly more accessible high-performance option at US$2,800, €3,599, or £3,199.

All wheels in the G SES line feature ENVE’s Wide Hookless Bead technology, which is designed to reduce the likelihood of pinch flats. The rims have a 3.8mm sidewall width and an internal width of 25mm, with a recommended tyre size range of 44–52mm.

Based in Ogden, UT, ENVE is a manufacturer of carbon fibre bicycle rims and components. The company produces a range of wheelsets, frames, and components for road, mountain, and gravel cycling, often used by professional teams in international competition.
