Swiss sportswear brand On and South Korean brand POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) have introduced Current Form 5.0. Marking six seasons of collaboration, the project culminates in a new interpretation of the Cloudsoma PAF – a running shoe inspired by rock formations, blending precise design and untamed nature.
The partnership is marked by a lasting physical legacy in Tenerife, Spain. Built in collaboration with land artist Strijdom van der Merwe, On and POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) have created a circular stone installation on the island that will serve as a permanent trail loop for runners.
The monument is commemorated by a campaign and short documentary. Drawing parallels between the construction process and the multi-season evolutionary story of the On x PAF partnership, the documentary is presented in three parts.
Moving from past to present to future, the film captures POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) Co-founder and Creative Director Dongjoon Lim curating pieces from previous collections into a circular display, van der Merwe constructing the trail-loop landscape monument in Tenerife, and footage showing athletes running the completed loop. At the centre of the collection is the collaborative Cloudsoma PAF shoe. Built for running and inspired by mountains, the footwear model aims to place nature in dialogue with avant-garde design.
Engineered for sensorial runs, the Cloudsoma’s high-abrasion quick drying upper is reimagined through organic motion, featuring swirling lines, an asymmetrical lacing system, and fluid patterns. Available in Cobble / Raven, Black / Black, and Haze / Linen colourways, the shoe is designed to celebrate the earth and champion freedom of movement.
On was born in the Swiss Alps in 2010 with a focus on premium footwear, apparel, and accessories for high-performance running, outdoor, training, all-day activities, and tennis. The international brand features proprietary technology such as CloudTec and LightSpray.
Established in 2018 by Dongjoon Lim and Sookyo Jeong, POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) is a South Korean design brand known for deconstructing and reassembling garments and objects using experimental cuts, asymmetric constructions, crinkling techniques, and heavy panelling.
The Current Form 5.0 launches on September 3, 2026.
